Meet the team that makes up our agency.
Fletcher is a Charleston native. He has been in the insurance industry for 61 years. Fletcher graduated from the University of South Carolina. He loves to spend time with his 3 sons, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Fletcher also enjoys golfing, hunting, playing cards, and making everyone laugh!
Beau is from Mount Pleasant, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and has been in the insurance industry for 40 years. In his free time, Beau and his wife have 3 kids and 4 grands! In his free time, Beau enjoys hunting and playing golf.
JD was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, SC. He graduated from Wando High School and went to the University of South Carolina. JD is married to Elizabeth and has three children:

Cooper is a native of Mount Pleasant, SC. He attended the beautiful University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks!). He is married to DeVeaux Quakenbush Carter and has two daughters, Anne Peyre and Rosie. Cooper is an insurance nerd, plays tennis, and is a big Gamecock fan!
Jennifer is from Summerville, SC. She has been in the insurance industry for 16 years. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her humans, dog, cat, and turtle. She also loves to travel, read, and dine out!
Roxanne is from Anderson, SC. She has been in the insurance world for 29 years. Roxanne is married and has one doggie! She is a proud mom and grandma. In her free time, Roxanne LOVES to go camping with her family. They have a fifth wheel and enjoy camping on Lake Keowee overlooking the mountains. She also likes to hike, kayak, boat, and grill!
Karen was born in Port Clinton, OH but has lived in Charleston, SC since elementary school. She has been in the insurance industry since 2007 and loves helping people. Karen has been married for 35 years and has 2 children, 2 grands and a lot of fur babies. She loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her precious grandchildren. Karen enjoys volunteer work, helping others at church and doing anything craft related (VBS crafts with kids!)! In her free time, Karen loves making and decorating unique cakes and cookies, carving fruit and doing dog obedience and agility training with my daughter and our labradoodles and poodles.
Gail was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She attended St. Andrews High School and graduated from the College of Charleston. Gail has been in the insurance industry for 30 years (all with Pinckney-Carter!). She loves spending time with her son, who is 21 years old, and her dogs, Gabby and Tippy! In her free time, she enjoys traveling near and far and gardening.
Connie is from Sumter, SC but now calls Mt. Pleasant home! She attended Wilson Hall for high school and graduated from Columbia College. Connie has 2 daughters (Catherine and Meredith) and 2 cats (Sammy and Sofie). In her free time, Connie enjoys reading (especially Dorthea Benton Frank novels) and going to the beach with her family!
Anna is from Spartanburg, SC. She has been working in the insurance world for 16 years. Anna loves spending time with her husband, Shane, son, Andrew, and her two pups, Sophia and Justice! In her free time, she likes to volunteer at the SPCA and go out on the lake/ocean!
Maggie was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She has been in the insurance industry since 1985. Maggie has four amazing children, two daughters and two sons. When Maggie gets free time, she loves to cook, spend time with her family and help others where she can!
Tricia was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She graduated from James Island High School and has been in the insurance world for 34 years. Tricia has 1 daughter, 2 grands, and 2 cats! She loves to travel, go to the beach, and hang out with her friends!
Diane is from Wilkes Barre, PA. She has been in the insurance industry since 1994 and had been licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health since 2007. Diane enjoys spending time with her son, ocean kayaking, biking, hiking, camping, and Christian concerts!
Scarlett is a Summerville native. She graduated from Summerville High School and has been in the insurance industry for 11 years. Scarlett has been married for 35 years and has 3 gorgeous + smart children: Johnny, Lance, and Grant. She also has the best pug ever…Frank! Scarlett enjoys to read, be outdoors, and wants to travel and see more of the U.S.!
Peter hails from Whitinsville, MA. He graduated from Hobart & William Smith Colleges with a double major in Latin and International Relation. He has been in the insurance industry since 2022. Peter has a black kitten AKA The Creature/Penelope. His parents are in MA and sisters both live in NYC. When he isn’t working, Peter enjoys kayaking, biking, cooking, and woodworking. Fun fact about Peter? He can put both of his legs behind his head.
Maura is from Clinton, MA. She attended the Salter School and has been in the insurance industry since 1995- specializing in surety bonds and both personal and commercial lines. Maura lives in Charleston with her fiancée and 2 cats. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, gardening, vacationing, exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and being on the go!
John is from Richmond, VA, but Charleston, SC is his home. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, as well as hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
Clay is from Mount Pleasant, SC. He graduated from Wando High School and then attended the University of South Carolina. He has been working in the insurance business for 6 years. Clay is the first 4th generation to join Pinckney-Carter. In his free time, Clay enjoys boating, hunting, Gamecock football, and spending time with his dog, Sam!
Hallie grew up in Mount Pleasant, SC. She graduated from Wando High School and the University of South Carolina. Hallie enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and their two dogs, Etta and Bosely. She is the 4th generation to join the family business. In her free time, Hallie enjoys being with her family + friends, playing with her pups, attempting to have a green thumb, and being outdoors! A fun fact is that she once caught 2 bluefish on one lure!
John hails from Massillon, OH. He graduated from Kent State University. John has been in the insurance business for over 30 years. In John’s spare time, he likes to go golfing!
Rachel grew up in Pikeville, KY (Go Big Blue!) and is currently residing in Summerville with her husband Keith (Summerville native), She has been in the insurance industry for 17 years, and started with Pinckney-Carter in 2003. Rachel has three siblings, and loves to spend time with/spoil her 3 nephews. She is a Coach’s Wife, so most of the time you will find her at the baseball or football field! Rachel enjoys working out, going to sporting events, the outdoors, gardening, spending time with her family and friends, and to travel wherever life takes her! She is a true blue fan, but will cheer on the Gamecocks when they are not playing eachother!
Chris is from Mount Pleasant, SC. He has been in the insurance industry for 15+ years. Chris is married with 3 kids (2 daughters and 1 son). In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking and backpacking, as well as cooking!
Dave grew up in Columbia, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and has been in the insurance industry for 10 years. In his free time, Dave likes to spend time with his wife, 2 sons, 2 dogs, and his cat, as well as going out in the boat, fishing, and watching the Gamecocks!
Josh grew up in North Charleston, SC. He attended Dorchester High School and Liberty University. He has been in the insurance world for 17 years. In his free time, Josh likes hunt, camp, and spend time with his wife, kids, and 2 dogs!
Anne Peyre is from Mount Pleasant, SC. She went to Wando High School and graduated from the University of South Carolina. Anne Peyre, or “AP” as some of us like to call her, started in the insurance industry in 2020. She has a Goldendoodle named Sister, who she enjoys spending time with. She is the 4th generation to join Pinckney-Carter. In her free time, Anne Peyre enjoys going on walks with Sister, travelling, going to country music concerts, trying new restaurants, going on the boat, and working in her garden. At one point, AP owned 10 chickens!
Shawn was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She went to school in Orlando, Florida. Shawn has 2 children, 7 grandchildren, and a little dog named Bear. When she isn’t working, Shawn is usually feeding her homeless family and mentoring the youth.
